About Me

I am an analytical, backend-oriented developer who treats code not just as instructions, but as long-term digital infrastructure. Based in South Africa, my focus is directed toward the financial and data management ecosystems environments where strict types, solid error-handling boundaries, and system availability are critical and operational capacity in the fringe cases.

My engineering strategy centers on readability and minimal abstractions. Whether managing complex relationships inside an ORM schema, containerizing a multi-tiered system using Docker, or configuring stateful micro-services, I aim for complete clarity over clever code. It is a matter of principle that my systems are functional even at the lowest hardware specifications, and that they are maintainable by any competent engineer who may inherit them.

Outside of pure software engineering, I dedicate effort toward technical system documentation, product spec engineering, and studying updated marketing frameworks to better understand the end user needs and requirements.
